George Taubman founded the business in the early 1900s on the basis of exceptional technological capability. PPG, the new owners of Taubmans, has a long history of utilizing international technologies to obtain a competitive advantage.

Taubmans has developed into a significant player in the Australian architectural coatings sector since its founding a century ago. Notable and inventive consumer paint brands including Endure with Nanoguard, Living Proof Silk with Teflon®, Easycoat with Microban®, and All Weather with Dirt Shedding Technology were also introduced by it. PPG and Taubmans are dedicated to ongoing expansion in the future.
